This agreement (the “Agreement”) represents the entire contract between you and Your English Lounge.
By visiting or purchasing a lesson on Your English Lounge, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) of use set out below.

1. Acceptance of the Terms
By using the information, tools, features and functionality located on yourenglishlounge.com, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and the Terms, whether you are a “Visitor” (which means that you simply browse the Your English Lounge website). The term “you” or “User” refers to a Visitor. The term “we” refers to Your English Lounge. If you wish to make use of the Service, you must read this Agreement and indicate your acceptance during the registration process.
Please review all of the Terms carefully before using the Site.
By using the Site, you agree to be bound by the Terms and confirm that you are over the age of 16 and able to form legally binding contracts.
Before you continue, you should print or save a local copy of this Agreement for your records.
2. Changes to these Terms
Your English Lounge has the right to modify this Agreement and any policies affecting or pertaining to the site. Your continued use of the site following notice of the Agreement modification will be considered an acceptance of the modified terms and conditions of use. Furthermore, Your English Lounge reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Site at any time.
3. Provision of the Services
From time to time and without prior notice to you, we may change, expand and improve the Site and Services. We may also, at any time, cease to continue operating part or all of the Services or selectively disable certain aspects of the Services or portions of the Site. Any modification or elimination of the Services will be done in our sole and absolute discretion and without an ongoing obligation or liability to you, and your use of the Site and Services do not entitle you to the continued provision or availability of the Site and Services.
4. Your Rights
Your English Lounge offers you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited right to access, use and display the content of this Site, provided that you comply with this Agreement and the Terms as set out in full. The materials of this Site are provided to you only for your private, non-commercial use.
By electing to purchase a lesson(s) or register for a trial of Your English Lounge, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below in section 9 in the Your English Lounge billing policy.
5. Use of the Service & IT requirements
Prior to booking a lesson(s) with Your English Lounge, it is your responsibility to check you will be able to access your lesson(s) with your computer or alternative device. You can run a test to check your computer or laptop has the following minimum attributes:
– Capacity to play sound & video
– An up to date operating system for PC & MAC
You must additionally ensure the following software is downloaded on your computer:
– Adobe Reader
– Office word
You must have the following hardware available for use in your online lesson(s):
– A webcam
– A microphone
– Headphones or earphones
Your English Lounge is not responsible for any inability to access the virtual classroom due to your IT problems.
Your access and use of yourenglishlounge.com may be interrupted from time to time for any of several reasons, including, without limitation, the malfunction of equipment, periodic updating, maintenance or repair of yourenglishlounge.com or other actions that Your English Lounge, in its sole discretion, may elect to take. Your English Lounge is not responsible for any loss resulting from your using any of Your English Lounge’s services, software, materials, audio or video files, content, or communications.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All materials of Your English Lounge, including content, text, images, software, audio and video files, documentation and the Site remain at all time the sole property of Your English Lounge or its suppliers. Such aforementioned materials are protected under international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not post, distribute, sublicense, translate or reproduce in any way any copyrighted materials, trademarks or other proprietary information without the prior express written consent of Your English Lounge.
7. Access and Interference
You agree that you will not:
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, deep link or other similar automated data gathering or extraction tools, program, algorithm or methodology to access, acquire, copy or monitor yourenglishlounge.com, without Your English Lounge’s express written consent, which may be withheld in Your English Lounge’s sole discretion.
- Use or attempt to use any engine, software, tool, agent, or other device or mechanism (including without limitation browsers, spiders, robots, avatars or intelligent agents) to navigate or search yourenglishlounge.com, other than the search engines and search agents available through the Service and other than generally available third-party web browsers (such as Microsoft Explorer).
- Post or transmit any file which contains viruses, worms, Trojan horses or any other contaminating or destructive features, or that otherwise interfere with the proper working of yourenglishlounge.com or the Service.
- Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of yourenglishlounge.com or the Service.
Please be aware that your carrier’s normal rates and fees, such as text messaging fees, will apply when accessing yourenglishlounge.com with your portable devices.
8. Privacy and Security Policy
Your use of our Site and any personal information or other information about you collected by yourenglishlounge.com through or in connection with the Site is subject to our Privacy and Security Policy.
As indicated in the Terms, our Site is not designed to attract children under the age of 16.
9. Fees and payments
By purchasing a lesson on the Your English Lounge program you agree to be bound to the following terms:
- Billing Policies
Your English Lounge fees are exclusive of any applicable VAT or taxes, interest or instalment fees charged by the credit card company, or other fees associated with connecting to the Internet.
Your English Lounge guarantees that every credit card transaction you make at Your English Lounge is secure.
- CancellationsPlease contact us immediately if you need to cancel your lesson(s).
- If you cancel more than 1 week before the start of your lesson(s), your full fees will be returned to you.
- Where written notice of cancellation of your lesson(s) is received less than 1 week before the start of the lesson(s), you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the full fees.
- Where a written notice of cancellation of your lesson(s) is received after the start of your lesson(s), you will be entitled to no refund of any part of the fee.
- Please note bookings are non-transferable.
- Any unused portion of the lesson(s) fee is non-refundable.
- Free lesson
The free lesson is available only to first-time users. We cannot offer a free lesson unless you sign up for some lessons. This is offered to assess and evaluate the learners’ needs and personal objectives as well as an opportunity for the leaner to meet the tutor.
